A comic about bullying that made me cry in the office this morning…
if you’ve not already read it, you should.

Another work by Mizuho Kusanagi with a male lead for a shoujo manga! The story revolves around Fujieda Memori, a 19 year old pretty faced and skilled bodyguard from Fujieda bodyguard office under his brother’s management. He’s the number one bodyguard, also the face/mascot of the office (and actually, the only bodyguard). Memori meets a strong, kind of suspicious, yet easygoing guy named Yuuki Shin who’s interested to become a bodyguard in Fujieda office. Memori who isn’t used to have a partner grew fond of Yuuki. But who knows Yuuki’s real identity is an assassin?! And there’s more twist in this story as well.
Review:

You all know about AKB48, the Japanese idol girl group with the largest number of members, right? Well, this manga is about AKB48 and it features the real members too!
This series is about a guy called Urakawa Minoru crossdressing as a girl to participate in a AKB48 audition. The main objective is to help the girl he likes, Yoshinaga Hiroko, pass the audition. Yoshinaga Hiroko’s dream is to become like Maeda Atsuko or Acchan. She cut her hair and went to the audition. This audition happens to be her final try, so Minoru crossdresses as Minori and took part in the audition to make sure she realizes her dream. Hiroko got qualified eventually, however, the shocking news was Minoru was qualified as well. Thus, the road to becoming a female idol begins…
(taken from the synopsis bcs my grammar sucks)
Then the story proceeds to how both of them become the 12th generation kenkyuusei (trainees) of AKB48. They have to face the cute yet ‘evil’ senior, Okabe Ai, too! The manga gives us surprises per act, and not to mention the flowing comedy. It’s really enjoyable to read! And I love how they really put up real senbatsu members in the manga.

A story about fashion models. Niizato Yui, the No. 1 most charismatic girl in Japan. She started her career as a magazine model in her high school days, and now everybody in Japan knows her. She’s known for her pretty features, good fashion sense, and cool-charismatic attitude. She is also the daughter of previous top model, Shiina Naoko, who is now her manager. Yui became a model to aim her mother’s dream, to become a runway show model in Paris Collection.
Things got a little bit screwed when a “roommate” shows up. Yanagida Aki, a rookie model in Yui’s agency, now lives under the same roof as her. She’s loud and seemed childish, but who ever thought Aki has a light that Naoko, and Yui’s ex-boyfriend, the cool and popular photographer Nagai Katsuki, found in her? Yui can’t help but notice that Aki’s light is gonna crush her.
Even though Yui secretly envies Aki, she also can’t deny that she’s grateful to meet her. But the modeling world is tough. They can’t simply have it all. They must choose between dreams, love, and friendship. Because Aki also aims for the Paris Collection!

I’m sorry for spamming this manga all over your dash, because I need it on my blog. AKSDJHSJKDJ I LOVE THIS SERIES (this is just a fanart, but gosh it’s beautiful).
Golden Days is a shoujo-shounen ai manga by TAKAO Shigeru, about Souma Mitsuya, a normal high school guy who has a troublesome mother, thrown back to his grandfather’s past to save his grandfather’s bestfriend. Mitsuya went to the past and replaced Yoshimitsu (his grandfather), and taken to the Kasuga household by Kasuga Jin, a half-foreigner guy who claimed as Yoshimitsu’s bestfriend, and also admitted that Jin is in love with Yoshimitsu. Although Mitsuya doesn’t know what’s happening in that era, Mitsuya knows one thing for sure: he’s there to help Jin.
I cried after I read this, especially the last volume (I bought the books irl). It’s not always showcasing the boys’ love, but there’s also friendship, family, and straight loves as well xD the drama comedy is mixed well, and the art is beautiful~ recommended!

For the 2348378987 times I re-read Kanata Kara/From Far Away :’) the story is so classic that I never get bored with it. Yes, it’s cheesy and cliche, but what do you expect from a shoujo manga? The relationship between Izark and Noriko never fails to make me jealous. It makes me wonder if that kind of relationship really exist in real world or not..

Mainichi Seiten!, based on the same-title novel by Sugano Akira. The art is done by Ninomiya Etsumi. The genres are shounen ai, slice of life, comedy, drama.
The story is about life inside the Obinata household. The ever-so-protective oldest son, Taiga; the pacifist second oldest son, Akinobu or Aki-chan; the second youngest son who’s a boxer, Jyou; and finally the youngest of them all, the cute and spoiled Mayumi. They were surprised by the Asuoo family who came to their house and declared they have become a family due to Asuoo Shuu’s marriage to the Obinata eldest and only daughter, Shima, who is currently missing. Shuu, with his adoptive son, Yuuta, stays in Obinata household. The days they spent together are full of colors, be it bright colors or gloomy colors.
I couldn’t find the complete scanlations at first, so I thought I’ll give the links that I luckily found. Mainichi Seiten! series:

Asdfghj I love it! BL manga with good plots and nice artwork are hard to find. So I’m really glad I found this series. ;A; I read it all night and all day. The couples are certainly cute! And above all, I like the father-son relationship between Shuu and Yuuta. Idk, they’re just— augh. <3 The series is not as ‘empty’ as it looked like. The problems and complications in it are pretty deep and heavy. But it’s balanced with the light comedy and heart-warming family relations. Overall, I really like it!

Ricchan, one hell of an adorable uke.
Takano-san, I think you could boil that shower water with your hotness.
And An-chan. I’ve always thought you’re a nice, cute girl. Lemme hug you tight. Q_Q

Ageha: “So how long… have you two been together?”
Arisaka: “…you make it sound like Kuromine and I are dating.”
Ageha: “Oh I said it wrong?”
PFFT Ageha, I see you’re secretly a fujoshi. B) /shot
Chapter 60 is definitely my favorite chapter so far (because of the Kuromine x Arisaka; YAY HOMOS♥ /shot again).
FUCK THIS SERIES ASDFKGJFDKSLKJKL AAAAAAAAAAAAHHH OMG I CAN’T EVEN. All the drama, comedy and homo— ASHJKDLK PUTTING IT ON MY TOP YAOI SERIES AND I HAVE NO REGRET AT ALLLLLLL.

I’m more into fluff than sexsexsex, but if it’s not too hardcore, then I’m okay with it. Recommend please? I’m craving for some 2D gay boys on my screen.

Super Lovers! OMGOMG IT’S SO GAY. FUJOSHI(s) GO READ IT.
It’s really cute and sweet and fluff and LALALA I think we’ll get the 18+ scenes soon enough. /bricked ANYWAY SRSLY IT’S GOOD. For me, at least.
It’s about Haru, who works as a host for his brothers—Aki and Shima the twins—after their parents passed away in a car accident. Then Haru got another brother, Ren, who was adopted by the parents before they died. Haru and Ren met several years ago but Haru didn’t remember because of the amnesia from the accident. No matter how much they say it’s siblings’ or brothers’ love, we all know they’re so gay for each other. B) /shot
“The relationship between the oldest and the youngest… is always ambiguous.”

Shitsurakuen by Naomura Tooru. The story is really interesting and the artwork is nice. I can’t wait for the next chapter!
